What You’ll Need

☕ Medium-Fine Ground Coffee
(Recommended: Beanfull AeroPress Grind)
Texture should resemble fine table salt

💧 Filtered Hot Water
Around 85–92°C (slightly cooler than most brew methods)

Brewing Instructions

Step 1 — Prepare the AeroPress

Place a paper filter into the filter cap and rinse it with hot water.

This removes any paper taste and helps preheat your brewer.

Assemble the AeroPress over your mug.

Step 2 — Add Coffee

Add ground coffee into the chamber.

Recommended Ratio:
1:15 coffee-to-water ratio
(Example: 18g coffee for 250ml water)

For a stronger concentrate-style brew, use less water.

Step 3 — Add Water & Stir

Pour hot water over the coffee grounds until fully saturated.

Give it a gentle stir for 5–10 seconds to ensure even extraction.

Step 4 — Let It Brew

Insert the plunger gently to create a seal.

Allow the coffee to steep for 1–2 minutes.

Suggested brew times:

• 1 minute → Brighter, lighter cup
• 1½ minutes → Balanced & sweet
• 2 minutes → Richer body

Step 5 — Press Slowly

Press the plunger down gently with steady pressure.

Aim for a smooth press lasting around 20–30 seconds.

Stop once you hear the familiar hissing sound.

Step 6 — Sip & Enjoy

Enjoy your coffee black for maximum flavour clarity, or dilute with hot water for an Americano-style cup.

You can also add milk for a smoother, creamier experience.
